Getting started is easy. Simply fill out an inquiry form on this website and we will email you a free, downloadable copy of our franchise report. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the Independent Taco franchise opportunity, including information on:

Once you receive the report, a member of our team will reach out to you to schedule a brief, introductory call. This will allow us to get to know each other, answer any questions you may have, and determine if we’re culturally aligned – and if we are, we move forward in earnest.

We give you a chance to review our Franchise Disclosure Document, which includes a comprehensive overview of financial performance, costs & fees associated with ownership, and more. We’ll also schedule interviews with members of our executive team to allow you to pick their brains and ask any questions you may have.

From there, we’ll schedule your Discovery Day visit, where you will come to our headquarters outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and meet the executive team in person. You will visit a few Independent Taco locations, try the food, and of course, spend time with the leadership team that will help you with every aspect of opening, running, and growing your business. You will also get another opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

At the end of Discovery Day, we will be ready to finalize this partnership and start you on your journey to opening your restaurant. You will sign a franchise agreement – and congratulations!  Your family just got a whole lot bigger as you’re now a part of the Independent Taco franchise family.

Now, we’ll hit the ground running. We will schedule your three-week training program at one of our restaurants, where you will learn every aspect of the business model, including:

• How to prepare and serve our food with expertise
• How to manage a team
• How to engage with customers
• How to manage inventory
• How to use our best-in-class POS system
• How to implement our marketing strategy
• And much, much more.

At the same time, our real estate team will be working to find the best possible location in your market. We’ll help with lease negotiations, build-out, and will be on site to help you get ready for your grand opening and beyond.
